All Omnevue Auditors are Certified Public Accountants or Chartered Accountants (also certified in ESG). They are the only professionals licensed to independently audit ESG data and impacts and the financial value created, or at risk, in line with International Auditing Standards (ISAE 3000).
Omnevue clients can be confident that their ESG accounting complies with professional standards, applicable laws and regulations, and the Code of Ethics of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
Omnevue Auditors are professionally committed to uphold the Code of Ethics of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (or equivalent nationally regulated and recognised professional accounting body). This code requires them individually to conduct ESG accounting in line with the following six principles:
Behave with integrity (which implies honesty, fair dealing and truthfulness) in all professional and business relationships.
Maintain professional knowledge and skill at the level required to ensure that work is performed diligently and in accordance with applicable technical and professional standards. This ensures that clients’ data will always be compliant as regulations evolve.
Be objective in all professional and business judgements and to maintain an attitude of professional scepticism. An independent audit is the most convincing way to prove to your stakeholders that you are not greenwashing (intentionally or unintentionally).
Respect the confidentiality of information acquired as a result of professional work and not disclose any such information unless there is a legal or professional right or duty to disclose nor use it for personal advantage.
Only accept or perform work which the member or firm is competent to do unless outside help is obtained. Omnevue is an ESG accounting platform. It does not provide ESG advisory services.
Behave professionally by complying with relevant laws and regulations, avoiding any action that may bring discredit to the profession and behave with courtesy and consideration towards all.
In recognition of the professional standards to which we hold ourselves accountable, Omnevue is an approved training employer of the ICAEW. Under the guidance of Nick Sachs (Director of Audits) and his team we are training the next generation of ESG accountants and auditors.
